You see, the reason why they were selling those things was because they were at the right price. Meaning, alot cheaper for what a real Macintosh would be selling for! I hope more people do things like this to alert people to Apple’s eroneous prices!

I doubt very much a Mr Gates or Mr Ballmer or indeed anything MS related will appear in the list of funders. MS may have produced Vista but they are still very smart when it comes to being a business. To fund something like this would be downright silly.

Prevent competition? Are you kidding me? Psystar was blatantly disregarding the policy that one must sign in order to use Mac OS X. I can think of no reason why selling “pre-made hackintoshes” could be considered competition, or even business.
Apple did what any company would do to an illegal reseller: they brought them to court.

Correction: Chapter 13 is a re-payment plan, just like Chapter 11. The only difference is Chapter 11 is when you have liabilities of over $1,000,000.00. Chapter 7 is the wipe the slate clean kind of bankruptcy.
