I’m getting sick of APPS. Enougn with the iPhone, going back to a simpler phone that is JUST a phone. This is a craze that people will get tired of shortly, when they relize how much it’s costing them!

I love the concept of iDisk but it does simply not work well enough. The Finder-interface is crashes often, and if it doesn’t crash you can bet it is very slow.

The iPhone-app did work at least, but it is still very very slow. My impression is that this is an european problem and that the iDisk actually works in the US.

I wish they could make it work here as well, cause an iDisk that actually worked well enough for normal use would be awesome.

I used Mobile iDisk since I starting using MobileMe last summer. It was okay but I am really excited about having the MobileMe iDisk available. There are a few applications I like to have on my iDisk so that I can access it anytime, anywhere.

Personally I love MobileMe and the whole idea behind it. I just purchase my first MBP in May and love how my iPhone, Mac and MobileMe work together. iDisk is just another part of the pie.

I’m not a Mobile Me subscriber yet, but this does spice things up. Though I prefer to keep my docs in the Google Docs world, having access to everything & being able to email from my iPhone is quite tempting. $99 a year still the going price for Mobile Me? Worth thinking about….

Why only MobileMe? Why not a generic iDisk app?
