According to the vendors I talked to on the Expo floor, they’re being told by Apple that 10.4 will be out 2nd Quarter ‘05, so I’m looking at the end of June.

yeah, well not that I talked to anyone, but the absence of a hard date had me figuring we’d see it at the end of Q2 – probably just in time for WWDC. ah well. as long as it’s w/in 1st half of this year, I’m cool.

I should add:
I don’t mean to sound like a mac zealot. I love Apple, and OS X. No doubt about it. I think MS has shot themselves in the foot plenty.

But all that said, I’m interested to see Longhorn when it finally comes along. There’s been so much talk of it for such a long time, it’s hard not to have curiosity about it.
