I want the Macbook, Macbook Air, and Macbook Pro to have an OLED option, I don’t care if it brings up the price to $5,000 to $10,000. It would be really cool to see the Macbook Air get thinner and even better. OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode). OLED displays are the best type of displays there is, they use less electricity than traditional LCD’s (Liquid Crystal Display), OLED’s are so bright on there own that they don’t need to be backlit and yet they still are brighter. OLED displays can be made thinner than traditional LCD displays and have very rich color (black is really black, white is really white, red is really red, blue is really blue, yellow is really yellow, etc.). They are brighter and more colorful than LCD’s and yet the black on OLED’s is darker than the black on LCD’s. They can be made flexible and slightly curved, OLED’s are just flat-out amazing and they don’t compromise on energy consumption (they use less power).
