Sounds good on paper but in reality it doesn’t work. I purchased Fontcase last night and imported my large library of fonts which went OK, but now performance is SO unbearably SLOW!!! Total waste of money, it’s unusable!!!

I’ve felt that FontAgent Pro has been the best font tool for some time. No worries and crash free. But, like anything, I think it can be improved.

(Am I missing something with Linotype’s FontExplorer? I downloaded the demo and it never caught on with me.)

Once your type library starts getting as bloated as mine, preview rendering speed becomes the most important benchmark. So far, Fusion is the hands-down fastest, but I’d be interested in a switch if this program can compete.

Despite some nifte features I’ve always felt that they both where lacking in either elegance or functionality.

To me Fontcase is perfect.

General note: Apps on mac is really exiting. On Windows there where never really any talk of all these new exiting apps(with some exceptions…). On mac small indie developers are making great stuff all the time. I love it. :)
