IMO Intelliscreen is great and well worth the ten beans. It's something that I use every day, unlike some apps which only cost .99, or are free, but I never use.....alot of those out there, and in the long run they are more expensive then Intelliscreen because they have wasted my time.

Uh... Hate to say it, but PRICING is a must-have for app reviews like this. Intelliscreen, at least, is FAR from free, and while the app is must-have on the face of it, the pricing is WAY too high for the features/unofficial nature of the app.

In my opinion the basis of why apple left this out, and this is just my opinion, is the factor of personal security. By having any information on the lock screen you are giving the chance for your phone to be lost or stolen and information of yours to be used. I get the idea of having it there, and that its nice to not have to unlock your phone to see it, but being in the business that I am in, where personal information security is a major facet of most organizations I don't ever see a use for putting that info on the lock screen, especially in any corporate infrastructure.

All in all though, good article.
