scout, there is no app for it in the app store, but there is a mac application that you will need to download. Once you download the mac software, simply enter a username and password that you’d like to use, and it will launch Safari. Type in the username and password you chose, and off you go.
Now if you want to view it on the iPhone, go onto Safari on the iPhone, and type in the URL that you see in the address bar of your mac.

@scout. There is nothing to install on the iPhone. You access the ‘Remote’ by going to the IP address of your Mac via Safari on your iPhone. The software needs to be installed on your desktop/laptop Mac that you intend to control.

looks kind of like Remote Buddy’s interface, some of the same features too.

This iPhone Remote program was last updated on july 2007, not sure why this has been brought up today… ;)
Anyway, I tried it but got some certificate-error and I didn’t get it to work at all on my 10.4.11 G5 or iPhone 2.1. So down the Trash it went.
Looked promising though.
