I have entered the details of my active itunes account under the settings store section, however, when I go to the store, it automatically comes up with my non-active account. This is not the account I wish to use anymore, and in fact my ex partners has taken this over. Can anyone please tell me how to change the default itunes account when I press the store button?

What next. Not only did we pay for the I-Pod but now we are going to have to pay every time they come up with an upgrade? If we let this happen anytime they would like to take money from us all they would have to do is put out another update. I do not agree with IPod Charging for any update.

A few of the apps that I have on my iPhone were purchased with a dormant iTunes account (yeah, I forgot the password on the old account).

I’ve tried to go through the forgotten password routine, but an “unknown error” page comes up from (apple.com) every time, so…I can’t get the password reset. The real problem is that we can’t re-associate our iPhone programs with another iTunes account that we may have.

Ironically, all of the effected programs where free downloads, but the developers now charge for these programs in their latest iteration.

I guess I’m stuck with dated programs or I’m going to have to pony-up a wad a cash for their latest update… any one have any remedy suggestions?
