Now when you’re on page which address you need in shorter form just click this bookmark and new small window will pop-up with short form address (without modifying currenty viewed site).

Anyhow, to email a link in Safari, Shift, Command, i
opens in default mail appt. In Apple mail, type whatever name you wish it to be called, highlight, right click, go to link, Add, paste link, done. Seems faster or as fast and without any added utilities.
