Giovanni: *nod*, i personally also try to get *most* (not all, of course) people i know to switch to SIP for all forms of real-time communications. One day i’ll forward my land-line number to my cell phone number, which will have an outgoing message saying: “why are you calling me? SIP ME instead!”. heh. … or not ;]

Great article. I downloaded Gizmo and have passed on the info to my friends. One thing that we need ASAP is greater cover for landlines. Limiting it to US/UK ain’t going to get us too far… @Jason: any timelines on the prospect for greater coverage…ie Canada, Europe.. etc.
