I've been using Find Any File now for long enough (2 weeks) to know that it is an awesome app! I'm so happy to once again be able to find absolutely anything I'm looking for. Thomas has truly created a gem of an application.
Many thanks,
Marshall

Hi Thomas;

Thanks for the comment, and my apologies for the spelling error. I actually studied some German many years ago (I'm pretty rusty),so I don't have much of an excuse. My daughter is fairly fluent in German and studied at the University of Freiburg in 2005.

Nice, ueful little application. Thank you.

Thanks for the detailed review of my app.

Spotlight can also optionally find "system files", but that is still harder to accomplish, and still won't show items in folders accessible by root only, nor items in folders manually declare "private".

You got my name spelled wrong once, BTW (it's german-"el", not english-"le"). No worries, though, happens all the time, probably the fingers are faster than the brain typing that syllable :)

This sounds very neat. I will give it a try. I always find myself struggling with Spotlight for simple file searches.

Very good article!
