Yes! Thank you so much. I hate it when people think something like this is being lazy, being forced to navigate back to the main library was a purely unnecessary waste of time. It was something that the computer could so easily do, something that should NEVER have become a problem.
Of course, thanks to you it's not anymore :) aha thx

I love my mac BUT itunes is an unstable piece of junk.
If you don't buy it from itunes there just seems to be problems.
Almost impossible to download a book on CD from a group of CD's and keep it together.
I could go on for an hour.

Wonderful to get them sorted. I have iTunes looking at a different location than the normal (going to an external USB HDD). Set to only show up as G drive. The trouble is the Shift-Del only seems to remove from iTunes. Will not delete from the HDD. So, everytime I sync my drive they all come back again! Grrrr. Arghhh! I am about this |-| close to deleting my entire library and rebuilding from scratch. Never should have copied my co-workers music. Stupid Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Acid Rock. It is interfering with my Oldies and Country Music.

Remote HDD issue - I store all my music on a remote HDD and rip CDs on a different computer than the ones that has my iTunes libray. I then import my music from the remote HDD into iTunes. The probelm I am faced with is that my iTunes PC sees the HDD as E drive sometimes and F drive sometimes and now I can't fully sync my iPod. I either get only F drive songs or E drive songs. Is there a way to access the entire file name for each some so I can edit the drive letter? I woulkd prfer not o relaod the entire libray as I have had to manual add many album cover art work covers.

If you're on an Apple keyboard then the option key is the one that says "Option" on it... dur. As for the Command Key, that's the one with the clover-looking icon on it.

If you're on a Mac but using a standard keyboard, then the option key would be the Alt key and the Command key would be the "Windows" key.

If you're on a Windows machine, then to delete the file from any playlist AND have it deleted from the hard drive -- hold down Shift and Press the Delete key. (As of version 9.0.1 of iTunes.)
