Ok this happened to me so i couldnt fix it on my own so o took it to the apple store. They told me to sync it to the computer and restore it and it works now aparrently if you dont restart you ipod/ iphone ( home+power button until it turns off on its own) regularly when downloading apps itll dp that. What it does i it gives it a chance to reorganize the scattered app files and also makes it lag less ( yes ipods do lag especially wwhen your running apps that require alot of internet). Hope this solves your problem!!!

You do not need to contact costomer service just delete in iTunes and redownlad for free. Also I found this freezes with jailbreak for somereason

try to go onto the itunes on your computer under the purchase history and dispute it and explain what its doing. customer servic will credit your account the money so you can delete it and redown load.
