I was able to download Design Pro and created some great address labels. Once I finished and tried to re-open the application, it would not open. I downloaded the same program 3x but it has stopped working after 5 mn. My computer shows the icons/programs but there is no way to open this a 2nd time. I’m bringing this computer in to Apple for my one on one!!!

I’ve been using a PC version on my old XP computer I’ve now purchased a Mac. If I download the software for Mac can I import my old address files for my Christmas card labels.

Designpro for the MAC doesn’t cut it. I created a zdl label on a PC under XP and MAC running OS.X will not open it.

If Gilbert Cantlin returns to read the comments and to help out a new Mac switcher, ALL the label sizes he mentions can be found at Avery’s site:

I believe I have printed some of the sizes you have mentioned to package bottles, jars, and boxes for my small business. However I’ll check and respond on this thread. I use a lot of labels. :-)

The only labels I use are the following sizes:

1/2″ x 1 3/4″
1″ x 2 5/8″
1″ x 4″
2″ x 4″

I used Avery labels for years while I had Microsoft’s Windows operating systems. When I purchased the new Vista system last year, I ran into so many problems that I gave it away and purchased an Apple iMac with the Leopard OS X, Version 10.5.2.

I made that purchase at the end of February. Since then, no one at any Apple stores or tech support, no one at retailers of Avery supplies, no one at all, has been able to tell me if there is a label system that I can surely and safely use for printing the above noted labels.

Can you help me with this unexpected, unbelievable problem. I just can’t imagine, as sophisticated as Apple claims to be, that they have no system, no product, and can give no advice.
