I think you get the full amount off. I am sure you’re not taking into account the fact that you get an educational discount on the iPod Touch of £20. Therefore £145 off is full discount.

It’s not ALL education customers, as your article says. It’s only for college students and faculty at grade school and colleges. It’s not applicable for students or parents of students in grade school.

In the UK you don’t get the 8GB free, you get a rebate of £145 where the actual cost of the iPod Touch is £165 so you’re £20 short however its better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!

I did the calculations and, the rebate given to Americans is exactly the same as the rebate given to us, at the current exchange rate. Further, the difference in price between an American and British iPod touch is due to VAT. No reason to complain in this instance!
