While I’ve had some minor issues with it, overall it’s been great. I love how the keyword lights up so I can see at night. I’d recommend it to anyone who does design work.

I have a 2006 15″ MBPro whose original battery has worked fine, but honestly needs to be replaced. Don’t know if you can name non-Apple brands, but do you recommend getting a generic replacement and saving $30 to $50? The 500 or so reviews on Apple’s OWN site give the Apple-branded batts something like 2 stars out of 5.

If you’re not a tester, you probably haven’t a 17″ MacBook Pro (it’s still not available for purchase!)
Your MacBook Pro is certainly a 15″ (5hrs battery life).
