The first one I bought also had the infamous noise issue, but its replacement was the best headset I ever used. Unfortunately, I lost it in a huge conference room and never found it again. Until Apple announces another one (if, that is) I’m going with the Nokia BH-804 which resembles hugely to it.

Bluetooth really change the way of modern communication, instead of the tangling wires for gadgets headset accessories today, we use the most efficient way to do it. A protocol that was made to make all devices connect to each other without the worries of compatibility. Well the most important for me is, it makes life easier.

my first one immediately experienced the classic problem with noise…exchanged it for another that worked wonderfully for one year without any problems…until a truck ran over it in an office depot parking lot!

it was the least obtrusive, coolest looking, and even the best functioning earpiece i’ve ever owned. it was as if i were not wearing an earpiece at all…which ultimately brought about its demise.

sigh…

Aplle does make great computers,phones and ipods, but there bluetooth headsets are not the greatest.

I don’t care if Apple makes another Bluetooth headset (even though I use it and like it). What is ESSENTIAL for me, however, is the fact that the battery life of the headset is clearly displayed on the iPhone.

If there’s another headset that does this (if Apple allows 3rd party developers to display battery information), we’d all be better off for it.

Apple once made a digital camera too–the QuickTake. And printers, lots of them.

Part of Apple’s resurgence is learning when to bail. It’s hard to imagine that this is the best use of Apple’s resources… and clearly from some of the comments they’d have to devote more resources to get it right.

Apple is trying to NOT become Sony.

I never owned one but absolutely loved the idea of them, they appeared to work incredibly nicely with the iPhone but lets be honest, the Jawbone headset is the clear winner compared to the Apple headset.

It was a nice device that was poorly engineered. I had 3 of them. They all worked for a week or two and then began developing problems.
