Chances are they would pass the manufacturing of a tablet on to one of the same companies that already handles the Powerbooks or iBooks.

Personally I think they should take a nice long look at the Cell processor. If Sony hasn’t over-hyped it to the extreme that they normally over-hype their products then it is one heck of a processor.
