I have a problem. I finally got all of my Palm memos over to Notebook. I decided to assign some to "private" and selected three. When I went to enter a passcode, I was asked for my "passcode." I had not created one, but it somehow selected one!

Any suggestions for a way to solve this? None of the "usual" 4 digit codes I might use work.

Thanks, I am after this exact functionality!!

I carry a diary, a notebook, pens because you always lose one or two of them when you are out, my phone, my mp3 player and sometimes my small laptop. (on some occassions i would need to take my laptop with me anyway) But it is so much to carry!!

I have been looking for something that I can use as an organiser and a good notebook for ages, the functionality of the phone being in it is perfect and in addition the iphone does mp3's.

I am still considering buying an iphone due to its price.. but this review has definitely helped me!!

Thanks again

You know I tried a lot of notes apps, including Notebook, but I felt Simplenote was the easiest and fastest. I don't need all the fancy font formatting stuff, just good straight up note taking ability.

Simplenote's fortes are its elegant webapp which I can access anywhere, and its magical sync abilities which happen instantaneously and in the background. It's priced cheaper than Notebook, at $1.99, too.
