Also there are some plug-ins and it can run off your flash drive.

1) They are not affiliated with the W3C, and their site should NOT be taken as official or canon. People incorrectly assume they are official because of their name.

2) A number of areas of their site are actually incorrect (I mean, factually wrong) – I have personally begun to move away from relying on them so much because of the mistakes and inconsistencies. Here are some examples of inaccuracy on their site:
