Apple Widgets Page Goes Live- Updated
Apple has gone live with their Dashboard Widgets page. There are several third party widgets available including a FedEx tracker, a SMS sender and Solitaire. Be warned, though, that while the page is live, some of the links to widgets are not, with the links directing to missing pages. So if you’re the type who wants everything to be ready the moment you install Tiger, now you can get a head start and start downloading widgets.

The page has since been replaced with one reading “Looking for Dashboard Widgets? They’re coming soon. In the meantime, check out the 200+ new features in Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger”.

This isn’t really a live page.. it isn’t linked to anywhere, and none of the widgets are downloadable, it appears to still be in development.
If you click on the file size link rather than the name of the Widget, it will begin the download. I’ve tested a couple, and all the ones I tested worked.
Page has vanished.. it now refers you to the tiger preview pages.. there are no widgets listed anymore..
