One of the main gaps of SVN client tools is they don't display Revision Graphs.

But above has a simple solution:

Download the free web application (standalone version) of SVNFlash at http://www.svnflash.com
Install it (needs Tomcat to run) and register your repositories. Wait until they are synchronized. That is all!

You must still use your favorite SVN client, because SVNFlash is only web app and has not access to your local hard drive but when you need to view a revision graph it will display the graph on your Safari (Flash Player 10 is required).

Ready? You can see a real example of a random revision graph. The Apache's Subversion repository is cached and synchronized every 10 seconds. So, click on the below link and wait until the Flash application is loaded. First time it could take a while. Next times it will be loaded very fast from your browser cache. As Apache is public you don't need type credentials. Click on the OK button to log in.
Drag the graph with your mouse and zoom it/out with your mouse dragging while the Ctrl key is pressed.

http://173.255.210.14/svnflash/?action=graph&css=MacOS9&repo=apache&path=/db/derby/code/trunk/STATUS

Enjoy it!

PS: MacOs has never been tested. I know SVNFlash client (Flash app) works very fine on Windows and Linux. Firefox and Internet Explorer too. MacOs and Safari?

I myself haven't tried Tortoise. I love Cornerstone. And it's not just a skin for the OS X svn either - it has svn built in, which is very handy.

It's just a really well thought-out program and I've been able to easily do things with repositories and working copies I was not able to do with other clients I tried - both open source and commercial.

That's why I recommend it.

Also their support is good. If I run into something I think is an issue, I can just dash off a letter and they help me until the problem is resolved. That's worth something too.

You totally missed my point.

I repeat: I don’t mind paying for good software either.
Again: yes, I buy software... :)

You talk about quality, but did you find one of those commercial SVN clients better than Tortoise?
Maybe they have a nice GUI (I'm a fan of OSX beautiful interfaces too)... it's that what you pay for?
Don't forget OSX already supports SVN natively via Terminal, so you pay for a GUI. You basically pay a skin.
And it sounds like you categorize open-source as "not good" and commercial software as "good", which is just wrong.
I mean... it sounds like.

I don't mind paying for quality; I make my living in software and Web development, so that would be pretty hypocritical and small-minded, wouldn't it?

But 'quality' is why I abandoned Windows (after 20+ years) for the Mac anyway; I LIKE being able to have things that Just Work pretty much as expected, without the perpetual, permanent security and stability meltdowns that are fundamental to and inseparable from the "Windows experience." I know that my measured productivity my *first* year as a full-time Mac user was just over twice my *best* year with Windows. For me, that's money in the bank, and really hard to argue with.

I don't mind paying for a good software either, but on Windows there's the best one, and it's free/open source: Tortoise.
Why Mac users have to pay for something that's not even like it?
Not to be stingy, but look at the prices... for something that you could already do with your OSX's terminal SVN.

I don't mind at all paying a very reasonable price for commercial software so thoughtfully developed and which works as well as CornerStone. It's just an amazingly well done product.

Plus since it also includes svn itself as part of the application you don't have to worry about whether svn is installed correctly on your Mac. That is a great convenience. All in one, great UI, wonderful support, easy to use. I can't say enough good things about it.

Most of the clients you are featuring in your post are commercial, and it's very frustrating looking at the prices, and the beatiful alternatives for Windows.
I just made a list of 4 free (and open-source) clients for OSX, you can check it here:
