Neckties Don’t Keep Us Older Dads Connected to Our Family

With age, our world was to become simpler, but the internet has made it more complicated. To keep connected with our kids & grandkids, we’re expected to participate in emails & text messages, and find & comment on videos & pictures on You Tube & flickr. Our only relief comes from our teenager grandkids, who make us promise not to join Facebook, write on their walls, or post pictures us holding them in diapers.

A group of Dad’s 55 & older created a web site called the secondhalfplaybook to try to change the way we get info from the web. Its focus on how to live an excellent & active life and it’s a no-brainer to use. There’s no typing, just a click of the mouse gets us the info we want. Plus, where in a safe zone: it’s a private site.

The Playbook uses multimedia to entertain & engage to help us…
 Stay connected with family
 Keep building the romance in his marriage
 Maintain physical & mental health
 Avoid scams
 Pursue interests
 Stay current with news & technology

The Site is updated with 100’s of articles and videos per day. Info is generated by the Playbook staff, aggregators, users, syndicated sources (e.g. Associated Press) and associations (e.g. Vietnam Veteran’s Association.)

The Playbook knows what us Dads want & the info we need, when we want it, so we can make winning plays!

Regards,
