It’s been months in the making and now it’s (nearly) here. You shouldn’t miss Gigaom’s Structure 2014, which kicks off June 18 in San Francisco.

In case you haven’t heard — hard as that is for me to believe — Gigaom’s flagship Structure event kicks off next week, and you shouldn’t miss a minute of it.

Top cloud execs from all the major players — Amazon, Google, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Rackspace, Red Hat, VMware  — will be on hand, along with infrastructure experts from Facebook, Airbnb and Twitter. IT buyers and deployers will be represented by execs from General Electric, Florida Crystals and The Gap.

It’s your chance to hear what they have to say about the competitive landscape, how concerns about data privacy and security are affecting IT buying decisions in the age of cloud, and how infrastructure has to change to support the impending explosion of devices coming online.

Oh, and there will be cocktails both nights, and for those who don’t overindulge, a CEO run Thursday morning.

As a preview, here are some of my personal favorite moments from last year’s show:

Amazon.com CTO Werner Vogels on AWS’s cloud strategy:

Microsoft’s then cloud chief (now CEO) Satya Nadella on why Azure is a player

What keeps your CIO up at night?
