So far the Moto Maker customization site has been available to Moto X buyers exclusively on AT&T, but it might be coming to the other three major carriers as soon as today.

Don’t buy that new Moto X just yet — if you were holding out to get one in magenta and teal, that is. Noted insider @evleaks has tipped that the Moto Maker customization site will soon be opening to the remaining three major carriers.

One image, posted last night, shows a number of customized Moto X phones with Verizon logos. The other image shows a new checkout screen on the Moto Maker site updated with options for Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.

Available exclusively to AT&T customers so far, Moto Maker allows you to customize your Moto X in over 2,000 potential combinations, with the ability to choose your phone’s back, front and accent colors.

According to evleaks, the site might open to T-Mobile customers as soon as today. And earlier this week, we saw a link that pointed to Moto Maker access for Sprint on Monday.

There’s still no word on when we’ll see the wooden back cover options Motorola showed off when it first introduced the phone. But it looks like buyers on all four carriers will soon have the option to customize their device, and pick one up for $100 less than it debuted at.

  1. If it’s coming today or next week Motorola has done a poor job of marketing this. They should have never given AT&T exclusive access to Moto Maker in the first place.
