Coresystems, which makes apps for business and customer service processes, has raised 14 million Swiss Francs, or $15.4 million, in a Series A round.
Since 2006, the Swiss firm has been active in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) space, but these days it’s trying to grow in customer services. It creates mobile apps for field service as well as software that ties in closely with SAP’s products.
For that reason, it’s not hugely surprising to see former SAP research chief Peter Zencke participate in the round, along with various Swiss investors.
“We expect the mobile field service market to continue to grow rapidly as enterprises of all sizes look to increase efficiencies and grow revenues by delivering stellar customer service,” Zencke said in a statement.
