RoadMap 2013

Whether it’s the influence of Apple on the tech industry, the power of Instagram’s emotional-laden service, or that sleek design is making its way into everything from cash registers to thermostats, it’s now clear more than ever that experience design is reinventing the tech industry. It’s not just about aesthetics, but it’s about carefully crafting the end-to-end experience of a product.

That’s why we’ve put together two full days of discussions, product demos, and an awesome party in partnership with Fjord for our third annual experience design conference Roadmap, which will take place next week (Nov. 5 & 6) in San Francisco. We’ve brought the event to the beautiful Yerba Buena theater in downtown San Francisco, the place where Apple launched its iPad Air and new Macbook Pros a couple weeks ago.

Some of the topics covered will include: the future of connected device design, how Moore’s Law is influencing design, redesigning the user experience of older industries, the new glanceable UI, designing to ship and other lessons on creating magical experiences, and how data will be used to inform design. We hope you can join us, and hear the thoughts from speakers including:
