Time Warner Cable is launching a live TV app for Xbox 360 later this summer.

Time Warner Cable subscribers will soon be able to watch TV straight from their Xbox 360, TWC and Microsoft announced Friday.

The TWC TV app for Xbox, set to launch later this summer, offers “up to 300″ live TV channels to Xbox Live Gold members. Once users download the app and log into their TWC account, they can control the app by voice using Xbox 360′s Kinect.

While the app is limited to live TV for now, the LA Times reports that it will add video-on-demand later this year.

Time Warner Cable also has TV apps for Roku, iOS and Android devices. And Xbox 360 users can already watch TV through Comcast and HBO Go apps.
