This new update seems to have removed to ability to sort all podcasts by date. The previous update had the “all unplayed” list that played from oldest to newest. How do you replicate this now?

If anyone else has the same problem, go to Settings, Notifications, Podcasts, Badge App Icon OFF.

Is there any way to remove the frigging number of unplayed episodes from the app icon? I keep it on my main screen and I really don’t want it there.
I know that might seem like a silly detail, but I keep a lot of stuff on it and it’s just unpleasant to see it all the time. It’s like a librarian harassing you every day at school “You have X more books to read this semester!”.
