The difference is that they handpick every app, and feature only worthy ones.

Wanted also to add that AppyFridays has launched a new promo called March Madness, in terms of which they will negotiate about 3 apps to go free every Friday for a weekend in March. And this makes it different from similar services.

Some apps never will, those that work outside the store’s technical limitations. Doesn’t mean they are bad; just playing outside the sandbox.
