This is published research that began in 2002. Health insurance carriers can offer to pay for it but they would like patients to pay a co-pay. The problem is that doctors don’t want to tell their patients about it and patients don’t want to pay for it. When doctors get behind the research we’ll finally see adoption. SMS and all the other things mentioned do cost money, so It looks like opposite of saving for me.

Moreover there’s an expanding list of negative health effects related to mobile technology. So year by year conencting healthcare with mobile phones and mobile technology looks more and more absurd.
