Being regular at the ITU, Geneva Connected Car Initiative prior to the Geneva Motor show, for the last few years, which is taking off. The driverless initiatives etc., etc., Amazon has done great work in this, and hopee to see them in Geneva with major auto makers trails on connected cars initiatives.
Suggest Amazon should commoditise the concept to a reality in the world where cars will be purchased in millions, yes not million, but millions in a year. As the car ownership has to grow a lot in India, Pakistan, China, the SAARC region.
This is the area where I'm based and working. Will collaborate with Amazon to take it further with local manufacturers for integration of Kindle Fire as standard monitoring and control tool for the whole car.

I'm always amazed that something consumers drive (scuze the pun) and technology that they assume should be simple to implement; takes so long for companies to develop. I still can't get over that I can't block my second Kindle on my account (my kid's) from making purchases without a password.
