Google Voice can do much better than this for free or for cents. For example, calling West & Central Europe from US is just .02 cents compared to Truphone for .51 cents.

Yes, of course, the 3 G; one can tinker around that on a smart phone or tablet. Google will eventually have these guys or business model for lunch. Reason Google hasn’t done it yet on global scale is that the giant Telcos are resisting because this is scaring the bejeesuss out of them.
