I have a question for next weeks show that puzzles a lot of parents:

My child will be spending a semester abroad. I bought him an unlocked Android phone for his trip. He will buy a local SIM card for his local calls and data while he is away. The question is, what is the least expensive way for him to communicate via text message and voice calls with his friends and parents back in the United States and for us to be able to call him? I would prefer a solution that works on mobile phones rather than using Skype on a computer. Also would a United States based Skype In number be of use?

I don’t need 126 GBs. But there oughta be a law against selling devices with just 8 or 16 GBs. Or devices that are 32 GBs but the OS uses half.

I wonder if those who need 126 GBs for architectural or medical purposes will be happy using an SD card on the Surface. Please don’t answer if you aren’t one of these.

Not all of us live in areas covered by high-speed HSPA+ or LTE cellphone service, so we put our music and video collections ON our devices. Not wanting to violate your data caps with streaming is another consideration when deciding what amount of storage to buy.

I think it all comes down to what do you use the iPad for? You need more space if you use it for productivity, business and games (i think).
Otherwise, my 16gb iPad is enough.
