Please DT, don't do this. Fon is not to be trusted. They have always played fast and loose with their statistics, and changed definitions at will which backed their statistics up. They haven't been truely crowdsourced for many years. You used to be able to bring your own router and possibly make a little money. Fon kept most of the money. Now, you must buy your router from Fon, and you must allow free access to your Internet for customers of various major commercial wifi networks. It's all a scam. I used to blog about this community, but my disgust drove me to leave Fon. It's just a vehicle for the company president to skim a high salary from investor's money while failing to make a profit (they deny this, while refusing to prove it), and he takes vacations all over the world on the company's credit because one little speech about Fon makes it a business trip. There are so many other, far better wifi-sharing and moneymaking outfits.
