Looks very interesting. My partner and I have been using Cupple for quite some time now (you missed this one off of your list - it's great). But I love the idea of being able to create lists and share calendars a lot more intuitively. Sounds interesting. The idea is very much nothing new, and I'm unconvinced that we'll ever see the concept of the 'social network of two' ever really taking off. But still interesting to see so many providers popping up in this space. We typically just use Cupple when one of us is travelling away for work (usually me). And that therefore makes any app that can be data-hungry void for us since some of my travel is overseas and I don't want to incur big data roaming charges, nor do I only want to connect with my partner when I have wifi.

I think they may struggle with the name though! At least with Cupple and Pair the clue is kinda in the name. But 'Avocado'? I understand the reason behind it but I'm not sure the name is quite right. Sounds like a supermarket shopping app to me.

A lot of couples will find the premium subscription worth it for unlimited photo sharing, for sure. I wonder: what provisions are in place to handle breakups? Is it enough for one person to decide to cancel the service, or do both partners have to agree? If couples are just using the app for calendar sharing, that's one thing, but if they are storing hundreds of photos and other personal data on there, that could complicate things. If this or another couples app takes off the in popularity, the social consequences may be interesting to see.

I tried out this app as a bit of a lark but it has turned into one of my most used apps. The calendar feature is the only feature I don't use heavily.
