Nice informative post and was following @ayasdi but they must have just updated website because I have a much better idea of what they do with topological data analysis to understand large and complicated data sets with next gen machine learning

property 1 – coordinate invariance
property 2 – deformation invariance – humans good at recognizing
property 3 – compressed representation

Overall pretty impressive but in addition to Ayasdi and BeyondCore there’s QUID and a few other infoviz players that have some good stuff
