I beg to differ with the author of this article. I drove two brand new Ford Escape's with SYNC recently. The product is surprisingly bad. The interface is amateurish, hard to navigate and locked up several times. I had to stop the SUV to reboot the navigation system. I am stunned that Microsoft and Ford after billions in investment created such a clunker. Adding more bells and whistles to this platform is like putting lipstick on a pig.
