It’s very different. Italy is not slapping anyone, Apple IS actually slapping all EU countries.

Most of EU countries has 2 year free warranty as a law and it always made me angry of how Apple was ignoring this laws because it believes that it’s solution is better. I only hope that Italy was a big enough sign to Apple or that EU will now because of Italian success against Apple finally start to force Apple to drop his useless Apple Care in other EU countries with 2 year law.
