I would be interested to see what Flickr's desktop traffic numbers are, but I suppose if people still their desktop site, those same people would use their mobile app. Many people probably have many photos on Flickr that they didn't transfer over that it is enticing for them to use the mobile app to get those photos back. They have to keep up with the design features of twitter and especially Instagram as they are always pushing updates. http://bit.ly/NvK713

Unless your a photojournalist on the front line in Syria or Afganistan, A Tablet, that is any tablet, Nexus or Apple, made as of today, just does not cut it for editing Raw photographs. Tablets are still made for amateur photographers working with JPEG files and Photoshop Touch. Now my wife has the coolest tablet in the world and I'm still with my 5 pound laptop until a real photographer heads up the design team on the next Apple or Nexus tablet.!!! lol

At least they implemented Aviary, which is a pretty nifty for editing on the fly. With Instagram and Twitter going head to head, does it even make sense for Flickr to try to take on those two major players in the social photo sharing world?
