Hello All
we can not get away from the basic physics of electric vehicles.
1/ The energy density of an electric vehicle battery system has a similar energy capacity as a soda can full of fuel.
2/ Electric Drives are best at giving high energy outputs for a short time.
3/ Limitations on load variation allow design to meet the requirements.

The facts of the best fit market are:
1/ Work Rush Hour occupancy is 1.1 persons.
2/ Distance travelled is less than 24 mile.
3/ Most rush hour commuters leave another vehicle at home.

The market potential market is therefore in excess of 50% of suburban households and can be considered to live between the car and public transport.

I still want a Tesla.

Suggest you do some sound research on H2, CNG and hydrofracturing before inaccurately condemning technologies and industries.

The reason why A123 failed is because of industry snobbery toward the Conversion sector.
They only wanted to supply the likes of GM or Nissan while many thousands of local conversion shops were asking them for affordable high quality batteries and they refused to supply the little guy.

HONDA wants people to have an electric powered, natural gas fueled CO2 emitting Hydrogen making machine in your home garage that could of course blow up the street like H-Bomb moonshine from the mind of FRACKING sociopaths. Just so Big Oil can rebrand as Big Hydrogen and claim Hydrogen cars are clean because of what comes out of tailpipe. EVs have NO tailpipe and can be charged in many ways.
