		<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s interesting that connectivity is the limiting factor. Uploading huge quantities of data can be prohibitive which is where infrastructure tools can have problems. For example the varying products Amazon offers such as RDS, Dynamo and ElastiCache are only suitable if you are located in the Amazon data centres, otherwise you&#039;ll be transiting over the public internet and latency will be prohibitive. The solution is to be located as close to your customers as possible and I&#039;ve seen some vendors offer &quot;hosted&quot; services which are deployed into different providers at the customer&#039;s choice. So if you want a hosted database but are in AWS you can access the same product if you were in Softlayer instead.]]></description>
