I have played around with Brand Yourself. The emails are a bit unrelenting and it’s a bit ambiguous as to what the benefit of your actions are. But I guess if they gave yout he whole black box you really wouldn’t need them. I am going to see how well it works over the next few months.

This is an interesting concept…reputation management. There are starting to be more and more articles about the need to manage our identity and protect our personal brand. We wrote about it here:

More and more, LinkedIn, Facebook and other sites are the new DMV…everyone has to go there and get their ID. Beyond that, we need to be careful what we post in our youngest or most foolish moments. We have to protect our children as much as universities need to protect their students.
