		<description><![CDATA[Hmm.. if they see tweets as public data(which it should be theoretically, I mean Google scrapes it), then this poses less of a risk to them. Honestly, I don&#039;t know we don&#039;t have an username/password authorization to bypass the Twitter API. For instance, rather than someone authorizing thru the standard API way, you just ask the user for their user/password, and you can use Twitter through some headless browser.

I know there&#039;s a security reason for it, and it seems &quot;primitive&quot;. But there was a company that did this (not for Twitter), still doing this, has 5 million+ users... and oh yeah got acquired for $100 million dollars by a Fortune 500 Company. That company is... Mint.com. So why don&#039;t more developers do this?]]></description>
