Pottermore, the Harry Potter community site and digital bookstore, now lets users gift ebooks and digital audiobooks to other people. The Tales of Beedle the Bard, a collection of stories, is now also available as an ebook for the first time.

“Shoppers buy the gift via shop.pottermore.com, and can add a personal message, as well as selecting the date on which the ebook or audiobook should arrive,” The Bookseller reported.

Separately, The Tales of Beedle the Bard is £3.99 in the U.K. and $5.99 in the U.S. “At least 40 percent of the sale price” of each ebook goes to J.K. Rowling’s children’s charity Lumos, as did the proceeds from the print edition.
