very good question! actually we are integrating current technology in order to provide solution of retail revolution. we are small startup, creating our own indoor positioning method and layout standard for malls. The business model is still under negotiation with mall managers.

Much needed update on indoor location positioning. As this article alluded to there is still plumbing missing. Assuming we can get accurate location, we still need shopping malls to provide floor maps to scale/map to actual location — latitude and longitude, and probably altitude too for multi-floor malls. I like the diagrams. Are they from Qualcomm?
