There is another MOOC platform, called WeduboX.com is like Coursera in Spanish, but with a big difference, WeduboX offer royalties to professors, Wedubox whants to be for professors what amazon is for authors.

You can join http://wedubox.com with your facebook, twitter, linkedin or g+ account, take the free course for course creators and start creating courses and earning royalties.

The target for wedubox is the market in spanish, however courses/professors in english are welcome.

This is what I suggested 10 years ago at LINKED .
Get together all schools to offer online courses to whole schools in the USA .

Now this is done by at least 10 schools not bad .

Every body miss the boat .

ONLINE requires scale , online is for thousands of enrollment to be feasible .

Now this model increase the enrollment to one online class by 10 then cost of it is only 1/10 of the original cost . That is $ 1,500 tuition course is now $ 150 only .
But I am sure school administration will not like it,
let it be twice at that $ 300 Still not bad .

Be more sarcastic . Assume 100 schools in the consortium then new cost is only $ 15 per course. No administration will like that. Iwonder how much they would charge .
