If a company's office and data center is intact, but many employees are not able to get there, there are ways to keep the business running. By hosting applications on Microsoft RDS or deploying virtual desktops, businesses can ensure that their employees can continue to work remotely.

One solution that facilitates such an approach is Ericom's AccessNow HTML5 RDP client. AccessNow allows remote users to access hosted Windows applications and virtual desktops from a browser tab. And because it runs in any HTML5-compatible browser, employees can even access those applications from iPads, iPhones, Android devices, Macs and Linux workstations, in addition to Windows PCs and laptops. As long as the employee is in a place with power and internet, they can quickly access their work applications by simply clicking a URL.
