Highlight? I don't think these guys are trying to fight with Highlight...Spotbros is not a new app to find interesting people nearby...apart from the IM solution with private contacts...Shout and Spots are two new functionalities aiming to improve cooperation with nearby people (through shout) or sharing interest and topics with others users (in those Spots...public chat rooms). In Spotbros, as far as I know, no one can see where you are and Spotbros never find people nearby that match your interests...it is not creatd to find people but to ask, inform or call everyones attention about a local event...i think is quite different to Highlight and other social discovery apps mission.

Clearly they're making an WhatsApp with features from the Highlight app.
Although I like the idea of a location based chat room, for neighbors .. I think they should rely on this feature for the success and not taking whatsapp or highlights place, specially WhatsApp.

Its a well stabilished app, that brought free texting to everyone.
It's tough to beat that!
