Ah no, no EROEI discussion, only about carbon emissions. There isn’t a standard formula for calculating EROEI though, so knowing the EROEI of one company’s tech doesn’t give you the context for comparison. If you know of a report or whitepaper that looks at EROEI for various biofuel processes or across the energy sector, please send it to me. Thanks.

Stories like this rarely reach the masses.

Distributed production of low-cost renewable fuel is the surest way for the American economy to rebound. If Cool Planet’s technology works as touted, it has the potential to create scores of jobs from coast-to-coast while lowering the cost of transportation. This will effect the affordability of all goods, but most importantly, food.
